They did let Jack Douglas produce another album; its called 'STANDING ON THE EDGE' and it came out in 1985. Also, Jack worked with them on their 2006 effort 'ROCKFORD' he's always very inolved with Cheap Trick either with hands on production or advise. He also engineered 'AT BUDOKAN'. Discovered them in '76 in a bowling alley in Waukegan Wisconsin....
Cheap Trick: The Worlds Greatest Power Pop Band!!

This is one of the best pop songs ever written. I would say this song and "So Good To See You" are the two best CT songs never to receive much acclaim.

As far as I know Marc Bolan has not been inducted yet. Bolan was and is the king of glam with a flair for writing lyrics that Dylan would approve of . He should have been inducted first along with Eddie Cochran and Elvis. All Marc did before he died at 30 was re-invent rock which became punk and then grunge....so if he's in the RRHOF he deserves it. As far as Cheap Trick goes....I love them.

hmmm..so again, let me answer a few of your q's...Marshall Mintz aka: Candy aka: my dad, was their very 1st photographer , and good friend in Rockford, Illinois...he was seperated from my mom, and was having quite a difficult time with that; he majorly struggled with severe depression...he hung hisself in his apartment on sept. 6th, 1975..it was a shock to the entire community that knew him..he was utterly talented, and an amazing guy !
sincerely,
H. Mintz
