Asha Bhonsle has complained that the best songs RDB gave to Lata, and the left over was given to her. And after hearing this song I feel there is some justification in her complaint. Many of RDB-Gulzar songs were sung by Lata except for Ijazat. Remember RDB's debut song 'Ghar Aaja ghir aaye'..... which sums up my analysis.

Manoranjan from 1974 was a fun remake of the Hollywood 1963 movie IRMA LA DOUCE starring Jack Lemmon and Shirley Maclaine. This song was a remake of the Theme from Irma La Douce.
