My entry in the "48 Hour Film Project" for 2005 in San Francisco. Contestants had 48 hours to write, film, and edit a short film, from 7pm Friday to 7pm Sunday. Each film was to include local landmarks, a prop (Kool-ade I think?), a character (Ramona Ramsey, nurse), and a line ("I'm in the mood for something salty!") in a randomly-determined genre (ours was the nearly impossible "Period Piece/Historical Fiction"). "Jennifer Gump" won a new award, "Best Pizza Throwing," for world pizza-throwing champion Tony Gemignani's performance. Written by me and award-winning writer Samir Mehta, with awesome period music by William Bajzek of "Sheltering Sky." This one was a lot darker than my 2003 entry, "Xtremely Xtreme!" Incidentally, my film company, GhostHouse, was incorporated before Sam Raimi's production company (also called Ghost House)... but he's a lot more famous than I am, so I have to come up with a new name now!
This is really good. I like the secret organization thing plus the sincere narration. Good work!
