Citizens of the United States of America. The hour of your liberation is approaching. The bloated, tax and spend government, lead by irresponsible politicians, has devastated our country. For decades, most politicians have ignored the constitutional limits imposed upon them. Be patient. Next November you will be asked to go to the polls and do your duty. I call upon all patriotic Americans to stand with others who love liberty. Together will shall achieve victory.

@Hallicrafters88 Operation Bagration began on June 22nd, that is what he meant by "in conjunction with our russian allies", several smaller offensives began in late May as an attempt to get the Germans to move armor away from the west. Only like 4 Russians including Stalin even knew the Allies were landing in June.

Inconjunction with our russian allies?? was he drunk or were russian troops invisible? Anyways i bet it brought hope and joy to all who were enslaved by the nazi regime. We had great leaders back then. They werent afraid to make decisions for the good of our country. Today our leaders are puppets on a string bending over backwards to please even our enemies. We allowed the enemy to infiltrate our country because its politically correct and built up the chinese nation for the almighty dollar.

Ike's broadcast is all the more poignant for its specific instructions to the French people on how to conduct themselves now that the invasion had started.
