@bobette63 - this was Lisa's first performance on the live-shows and she was the first one to open that first liveshow. Imagine yourself on a big stage with thousands of people watching you. I can understand she was not completely relaxed that day - but - she totally nailed that song!

this is the best cover of the song i've heard....and I really like the backing music for this, almost as much as the original. I still think Kelly is better because she's a more accomplished performer and is a lot more relaxed on stage than lisa is

@Funnypandalonies what I am saying is this... the show is called x factor. There needs to be more depth showing that certain special something that a singer or performer has to "make" a song. Using a song from kelly is gonna be hard because she knows how to "own" a song, not just sing it. And when she performs it, she knows how to recreate it in a way that makes it unique and better than the original. Basically, it's hard to take those songs and show yourself when you copy it.

@GHSH1 let me put it this way. I have seen performance after performance done by kelly. And I have heard her do this song the same exact way that lisa performed it. This is why I say there was nothing special about this performance.  The song is hard to work with because it doesn't give you much space to actually add your own style or throwin in a scale here or there, it's true. It's very rockish, and yes, it fits lisa's style. I'm not saying it was a bad performance.

@GHSH1 style. it was too karaoke to me. but better than the others. I will say she did a great job at hitting the notes and sounding out the words. I will give her credit on that, seeing as she doesn't speak english.
