Stuck on You Cover (droid interrupts)

My first attempt to sing and play at the same time. I get a couple texts that ruin it since my phone is my only recording device. Looking for constructive criticisms. I am the best singer, not by a long shot, but I think this song with the capo on the second fret fits my limited vocal range. I am mostly looking for pointers and tips to increase the power and volume of my voice. Even strumming softly with my fingers the guitar drowns me out.

Had this and another guitar stolen at gun point along with my wallet and phone. Got my teeth caved in and now my teeth are held in with glue and wires, can't eat for six weeks.

pretty good for a first attempt... sounds like you have a decent voice... i have a limited range and i like to sing as high as I can in every song (which isn't very high).. this helps bring out my voice.. try capo 4 or 5 or change the chords to a higher key.. nicely done
