CSCL Star I believe is the chinese ship, hard to know which is bigger as the TEU seems to differ for the big ships depending which sites you look on. Though Maersk has responded with orders for 10 new super containers which will be 20 percent larger than the Emma Maersk and her sister ships with a 18000 TEU, due for service in 2013 to 2015. The MSC Michaela was actually in Felixstowe a few weeks back, as was the CSCL Star and the Emma Maersk is there every few months

I do believe however there is a new chinese made ship that is larger than the emma maersk, was in felixstowe a few weeks back I'll see if I can find details.

that record belongs to THE EMMA MAERSK WITH A CAPACITY OF 11000 TEU. THIS PISS POOR MSC SHIP ONLY CARRIES AROUND 7000 TEU
