@husayn1972 or imagine if grown fuckin adults decided not to steal cars. oh sorry, that means responsibility and accountability for your actions. my bad.
This is entrapment. The police directly helped the commission of a crime. If the police had not intervened, the crime would not have occurred. If they wanted to get serious about stopping grand theft auto, they should cooperate with local chop shops and criminal gangs. But this is bullshit. Imagine if they dropped some crack on a sidewalk or maybe a 9MM Handgun, then arrested whoever picked it up.
@jwilliamson108 There is no entrapment here. The only way it would be ...if the police actually told them hey get in the car and take it and then arrest them for it. It's not a "form" of entrapment ...it's either entrapment or not. No one forced him to steal a car. It was his own wrongful judgment that led him to steal. He could have easily walked away.
I like when criminals are took of the streets, but it seems this is a form of entrapment. This is not a sting operation where a person is looking to commit a crime, u put a bait car in a "ghetto-like area", or places where more crime could take place and you tempt people to steal a car, idk if i agree with that. yea people are stupid for falling for it, but its unrealistic for a car to be open with keys inside, I dont think some of this ppl would steal a car in a normal setting
heh "let's give him a moment to compose himself" = "let's watch him cry like a little girl a bit longer"

@husayn1972 learn the definition of entrapment before you go blabbing about it. Entrapment involves blackmailing.
