  • What a bunch of religious nuts commenting on this. I'm not particularly religious but can't you just accept that this is a beautiful hymn without starting a holy war?

  • There is NO "Reformed" Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church is One, Holy, Catholic (Universal) and Apostolic. Period. End of debate. You can call yourselves "reformed," but God did NOT command those who follow Him to go out and form your own "church." Nowhere does Christ give anyone at anytime the authority to go out and form your own church. I'm not creating new thoughts or trying to declare new material. I'm commenting on Holy Scripture. I pray for your unification with the Holy See.

  • @petewrightrecords well it's worked wonders over the past 2000 years...

  • There is another song to this popular tune. It's in our hymnal and I think it's called ''The works Of The Lord Are Created In Wisdom''

  • @dacatholicbandorgan My fat Prostestant ass isn't recognized by Rome either. Your priests are all perverts. Rome can have them.

  • What exactly is a "Reformed" Catholic Church? Why don't you just see the light and go Protestant, like the rest of the *sane* Christian world?

  • you do know the Reformed Catholic Church is not recognized by Rome?

  • "We Gather Together" is actually a Dutch Protestant hymn. There is an interesting opinion article about the origins of the hymn. The Protestant Dutch used it as a hymn overcoming domination and religious oppression by the Spanish Catholic king Philip of Spain.

"We Gather Together" was written by Dutchman Adrianus Valerius, known in his lifetime for strongly anti-Catholic and nationalistic poetry.

    Look it up.
