  • :O! Eyefinity on GTA IV.. I thought it was quite impossible to decently run such a demanding game on such high resolution.. I thought you needed like 2 HD5970's in Crossfire :p.. But nvm

  • @MrNuun so far from what i have read crossfire doesnt work with gta - i am getting about 30fps - some people would not consider that playable - i do tho

  • nice, if you want even cooler I suggest some mods like the enbseries, check out my channel to see what GTAIV with ENB looks like, lifelike graphics.

  • @Troothforc thanks for the suggestion

  • hey what was that first song playing in the radio, sounded familiar, also, ifinity is awesome

  • Emperor - The Wanderer from Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk

Other track is Dia Artio by Wolves in the Throne Room from Two Hunters

  • @ethr95awd im running cf 5770's and they work perfectly getting 66fps in benchmark

  • enable bezel compensation for christs sake!

  • let me guess Nico never got his driver's license!?

  • hei its max out ?

  • @k3bab ah lol. I'll never win anything in my entire life.. Nuf said. xD I also heared the 4xx are noisy.. But i've ONLY heard complaints about the 480 like you mention. It seems the 460 with MSI's Twin Turbo coolers are really cool. You can even overclock to almost 1GHz without reaching lethal temperatures on STOCK cooling. It's true the 480 gets hot on stock cooling but so far that has only been the 480.

  • @MrNuun I think you should go for the 5850. I've heard the 4xx series are hot and noisy. One of those who built my pc were benching a 480 a while ago. When he went into the living room and closed the door he could hear the 480. After a while he went into the bench room and it was hot as hell...

I won my pc in a competition held by PC World Norway, that's how I got it. If it wasn't for that, I'd still be using my old one with Q6600 and 4850. I'm not really rich or something :P

  • @k3bab Hm. With your awesome setup it probably doesn't matter if it works or not.. enough games u can play.. =/

I used to have a HD5770. Which was crap.. didn't work at all. And now just because the 5770 is gone I'm using a 9800GTX+ Super Clocked.

Yes.. It's all bad.. I wish I could just have like a 460. Or a 5850 or something. That would make me happy.. but ye.. life as a budget gamer is tough. You prolly never experienced that.

  • For me it worked with patch 1.0.4.0, but that shrinked all 3 monitors into 1 monitor if you know what I mean. With 1.0.7.0 it won't start at all... Gotta look more at it later

Yeah.. I was playing Crysis with everything on Very High and 4x AA and got around 40-60 FPS. Now I just need to make it work with Eyefinity :P

Which GPU do you have btw?

  • @k3bab U should be playing other stuff on those babies.. Like Mafia 2 or Battlefield Bad Company 2 and such. ^^ I've got the same problem with GTA IV.. I click play it loads and it crashes.. never got it fixed.. I don't even bother trying it again :p

  • @MrNuun Well... I do have 2 HD5970's in Crossfire, but the game is retarded. Won't start >_>
