Twickenham Riverside has been SAVED from a Communist fascination with concreting over 89% of the site.

May 6th brought a New Dawn to Richmond Borough and in particular no-where else is more deserving than the Twickenham Poolsite, and Twickenahm Town in a complete state because of massive decay and wonton ignorance, leaving a town with an appalling mismatch between the residential community and the poor offering as a whole the town offers, with the obviosu exceptions we must build on, with careful sensitive and aspirational Revitlaisation.

The Lib Dem fascination with concrete and all things sparkly has meant the previous adminstration brought in a 'hi-rise cluster polciy' too just to be sure that end-to-end blocking off of our town led to it's inevitable demise. What a horror story.

The Barefoot Consultation and the Twickenham Conference are following the promise of actin and deep consultation with the community.

This description looks a lot like a comment Councillor Naylor made on a Twickerati blog.

Shame the same interest in preserving the green spaces in London's greenest Borough (yes we are in London, tier 1 world city, sorry to break it to you and all that) isn't taken to the fact that the Borough undershoots its affordable and private housing requirements dramatically. Fine for younger non-TRAG generations to live in overpriced rabbit hutches, maybe rented from TRAG members though, right?
