Indeed it was breifly renumbered 1000 and served in Wolverhampton for years but I never understood why? If this was 2993 the first order being 2000 making a total of 993 there was also 5 prototypes 6831-6835 which totals 998 so where are the other 2? were they numbered 70** or were these just the Titans they had? I can't quite remember but any info would be appreciated thanks

This was the 1,000th Metrobus delivered to West Midlands Travel. When new in 1988, it briefly carried the fleet number 1000 in recognition of the milestone.
