  • That was great editing and you used the effects well. Also did you do all those moving masks or is there some easy way to do that?

And you should try the widescreen option on Vegas so your vids take up the whole screen ;D

    But yea, cool vid :)

  • Thanx.

Yeah, I had to actually do the whole masking thing by frame to frame. Was....long. lol And how do you do the wide screen thing?

    Thnx again.

  • oh ok, I hope so. lol. I'll have to check out your vid then too.

  • psst widescreen is easier than he said xD

  • I love this! ^_^ I did an animatrix vid recently too. Very cool :)

  • uh.... yeah....lol xD

I'll try that then when I get done with this new one I'm making. Thnx for the tip.

  • also if you render at 3mbps, you can get the HQ option on youtube for the widescreen videos... shoulda just sent this all in a PM, lol

  • ^ it's only if the source file isn't widescreen that you have to do both steps. And I forgot to mention that when you render it's a good idea to pick a widescreen aspect ratio for rendering... I usually check the properties of my video source file on my computer and use the same aspect ratio the source file has, if that makes sense.

  • lol damn, yea that would take long but it ended up looking cool though.

And for the widescreen thing, if the source video (your Animatrix file in this case) is already widescreen, just go to "Project Video Properties" above the preview box (or press Alt+Enter) and under "Template" select the first Widescreen template that's on the list, then Apply. If the source file isn't widescreen, then you do Pan/Crop for each piece, go to "Preset" and select one of the 2 widescreen presets on the list.
