  • I was missing my daughter Carmen and watching her videos when I came across yours...your Sienna is beautiful. It really is a hurt that leaves a hole like nothing else. Lots of love to you from Carmen's mom.

  • Thank you for your note. I watched your video of Carmen and it brought me to tears. It reminds me so much of little Sienna. She was so full of life in the beginning. It boggles the mind that she could laugh one minute and be gone the next. Carmen was beautiful and will always be remembered (as will Sienna). The pain never goes away unfortunately, but you learn to cope and just pray you will someday be together once again. Best to you and your family.

  • Thanks for your kind thoughts. My wife and I are in a very unfortunate statistic of parents who have lost a child. She was only 13 weeks old. I made this video to document her life. We have also started the Sienna Bishop Memorial fund for Genetic Research through the California Community Foundation in hopes to raise awareness about genetic problems We now have 5 month old twin boys that I know Sienna is watching over wherever she now plays. Please pass this video on to everyone you know.

  • such a beautiful tribute to a beautiful angel! thank you for sharing your story with us. I feel your pain as my 4 year old passed away a month ago with a brain tumour. they taught us so much! strength, forgiveness, pain, love, acceptance. Yes the pain truly does not go away and we just have to learn each day to live with it and carry the cherished memory forever close to our hearts till we meet again! Your journey has been long and still you are up against so much more! I wish you strength!

  • Thank you for this incredible tribute to Sienna. My just turned two-year-old nephew has just been diagnosed with Leigh's and I came across your video in my frantic research for information. This video is an unselfish display of love for your child. Again, thank you.

  • What a wonderful tribute to your beautiful daughter. I was experiencing your joy and grief. My husband and I too had a beautiful son James who passed away at 8 months old. We spent the last 2 months of his life in 2 different childrens hospitals with him. Im sure you would agree that our children are a special gift from God to keep us connected to Him and eachother. He is sending Jesus to restore them soon!! We learn so much from them, lessons that last a life time and renew our spirit daily.

  • Hi,

I cried when I watched the video of little Sienna. I have a daughter with Leighs syndrome. She is very beautiful and full of life. Only God knows what's going to happen. We try to make the most of everyday she is with us and we thank God for another day we have her in our lives. She is now 20 months old and such a blessing to our lives. May God bless all of you who have posted and have children with Leighs disease.
