She does display a level above the pack. Thing is she has more than one approach to composition and Killer lyrics. Deserved to win based on this song alone. I have a hunch that the same team mixed all these Platinum Hits songs AND this type of song is what they are best at, because this mix really comes off, some of the others mmm not so much. For me, a "hit" should be catchy and sound fresh (almost experimental). I think Sonyae has what it takes to break new ground. R&B & Soul wins.

@philogracee2 LOL did you see scotty's face when sonyae was singing, he was in awe... couldnt believe that she once again beat him to it, i mean melodically he was amazing but we all know a beat get olds but lyrics never die... they should form a team and write hits coz sonyae is AMAZING!!!

OMG I knew she was gonna win the first time I saw her on the show I was like okay Sonyae has it in the bag she has swag and her concept are so amazing. I hope she blows up big. The last song she sung at the season finale was so damn amazing I'm glad Scotty didn't talk her out of it.
