I've heard of Mr. Bassman, Mr. Heartache, Mr. Blue & Mr. Sandman all from the Doowop era but when it comes to Mr. Lucky, i'll have to confess he's news to me. Anyway Billy & the Essentials are new to me too & by what I see to the left of the screen this isn't the only hit they have to their name. "Over the Weekend", sounds interesting enough by it's title alone, prehaps I'll give a whirl sometimes soon, then I see "Steady Girl" & a hit called "Lucky Star" by the Crestwoods, hum de dum. THX

@Ezdduf4kuZ Bill & Essentials was an fantastic group, also check out, Maybe You'll Be There, Over The Weekend, Cinderela, actually check out everything they did. Crestwoods another great group, check out the flip of Lucky Star, Crestwoods - Angel Of Love, I like it better.

My favorite off the LP is "Bad Girl", which they didn't put on the CD for some reason.
