It wasn't because she demanded a payrise. The writers talked about what would happen to Dana and then they developed this storyline. They chose Dana because they just wanted to show that even if you're a really healthy person, you can get sick.

I was told that it is a very popular (American?) childrens classic and I had heared it before it was featured on The L Word, but I just thought of the Dana/Alice scene of season 3 (don't want to spoil the experience for anyone here who has not seen it - so I'm not telling what exactly happens in that scene ; ) - watch season 3, everyone!) the second it was shown on TV and had to share it with you guys : )!

Nope, it is actually airing on German television right now (and in other countries as well, from what I have heared)...

have you seen the third season of "The L Word" yet (please refer to description next to video)? If you have then the song should ring a bell...If you haven't - have fun watching it, it's even better than the first season IMHO!
