@Davemeister22 I was there. I was chief engineer of Edmonton House hotel and we were on the 35 floor, the Midwest properties Head office. all glass surround from the board room I had a panoramic view of the two weather fronts hitting and mixing together. It was incredible.

does black friday happen in north carolina?!!

An event like Black Friday could potentially happen in North Carolina. Although monster F4 and F5 tornadoes are extremely rare, they have occurred in many parts of America and Canada east of the Rocky Mountains.

July 18th certainly was crazy! I thought that a tornado was approaching Edmonton with the fast wind gusts and am glad that the storm didn't actually generate a funnel!

No, this isn't Black Friday. It's just a simulation of a tornado warning that I made. The weird thing is that I produced this simulated disaster video just 2 months before the massive Edmonton storm which cleared out Capital Ex on July 18/09.

MMmmanastic1, this particular tornado warning simulation is fake and a fictional event based on what has happened in the past and will happen at some point in the future. What I don't understand is are there any specific things you are referring to as being fake? What??

During this current extreme drought, dry lightning/extreme wind storms is what we're getting the most of without much rain as this place is as dry as a desert now. However, increased temperature, like this September and August, summer '07, '06 and '02 means more fuel for intense storms. This could bring with it more intense and storms to the Edmonton area of North America's plains and more intense tornadoes. Depending on how dry the climate will get, we could get mainly dry lightning though.
