Heading to Bali in march ....end of march. Moving to Htown this summer but thinking about moving to the Island...however it doesn't look that good as far as surf.

Wonderful shots man! Very beautifully editing on the filming as well. Seems similar to something I would produce, but I had to sell my Cannon XLR Professional Camera and need to fix my other small camera. Well produced though man, I love it ;) Oh and MYDOGRUDE, it is really nice of the fact you seeing the talent here, where many people just get on here and bash on us. But to fix the misconception, it doesn't "always" suck here, and we are not all cowboys either, no offense taken though haha :)

- yeah, the question of surfing in Galveston / or Surfside is not are there waves but when? - the Texas surfers who are into it check the surf cams, wave reports (wait for hurricane season) and make sure they work at jobs they can take off at a moments notice - the days that it's chest to shoulder and clean sets are less often than the days of choppy nastyness but it's worth it to be there on a perfect day.

Are there always waves there? I know not that great in size but any surfable waves? Or does a disturbance need to be in the gulf?

@MrNewman8r No, there is not always waves in galveston. In the summer time its usually flat unless there is a disturbance in the gulf. The best time to consitently catch good waves on the island is in the winter time.
