The Day The LOLcats Died - #SOPA #PIPA Protest Song

SOPA and PIPA are two examples of recent legislation that is lethal to the internet as we know it. The internet rose up and is on its way to successfully fighting them off, but we need to stay vigilant.

The only way to prevent legislation like this from being passed in the future is to call your Congressmen and tell them. Make it clear that you don't support SOPA, you don't support PIPA, and that you won't support future legislation that damages the stability of the internet.

@WolfFawkes I think that's what he means. However, I definitely think you're right. The answer to this is NOT to start an "Occupy The Web" attack. It's to fight, not with picket signs or tents or guns or even words, but with ballots. It's time to vote not because of catchy slogans or empty promises, but because we KNOW that who we are voting for is just and is representing US, the tax-paying citizens of the USA, not some lawyer idiots with brief cases and bribes. WE ARE CITIZENS AND WE ARE FREE!
