The Breaking Winds Bassoon Quartet performs a very special version of Peter Schickele's Last Tango in Bayreuth, which draws on themes from Wagner's Tristan und Isolde and Lohengrin.

We are based at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. Members are Lauren Yu, Kara LaMoure, Eryn Bauer, and Brittany Harrington.

Guest drumming for us is Kevin McDonald.

  • @13xemoxguitaristx13 even those you don't know move in circles, rofl!

  • I am such a fan now gaga girls!

  • Awesome.

  • @MelissaYeuxdoux Unfortunately, the transmission into Hoople is carried over barbed wire rather than optical fiber or stranded copper. It was discovered too late that this was wholly inadequate for high speed internet service to the barn since the barbed wire was susceptible to spikes in the line.

  • Wagner swings. Bout time too.

  • It does to me too - the "ballad of the easy life" or "Die Ballade vom angenehmen Leben" from the "Dreigroschenoper". :-)

  • Lol. Every bassonist I know moves in circles while playing.

  • sounds like a piece by Kurt Weill!

  • I couldn't have said it better myself! This is so great!

  • OMFG!!!! That was amazing haha!!! I loved the tangoing with bassoons!!!
