The fight scenefrom between Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) and Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) - to the tune of Geri Halliwell's cover of the Weather Girls' It's Raining Men—is a comic departure from the book (in which the men never meet). The two leave Jones's birthday party for a brawl which takes them into the restaurant where Darcy becomes covered in taramasalata.
