Engine 6 is at Station 4. Squad 4 is at station 8 with Engine 8.

The AFD does not have any ambulances except at the airport, where there are two. For the city of Atlanta, Grady EMS responds to the calls with AFD. Grady EMS is county EMS. At any given time there are, I think, about 15 ambulances posted throughout the city of Atlanta. For a medical call, one engine goes, For a structure fire the assignment is 3 engines, 3 trucks, and 1 battalion chief.

Most stations in the City of Atlanta have a tiller truck and engine, or just an engine. Special equipment like Georgia Search and Rescue Truck, Squad 4, Decon, the air truck and other random trucks are spread throughout the city.
