Event Description: Welcome to Epic Mud Run , the Super Bowl of Mud Runs! The Starting Block, Ultramax Events, and the now famous Midway Travel Plaza, as featured on the new Travel Channel reality show, "Truck Stop Missouri", have teamed up to present The Epic Mud Run.

Ultramax is thrilled to introduce Mid-Missouri to our wildest, and certainly most epic adventure yet. The Epic Mud Run arrives in Mid-Missouri as the nation kicks off the fall football season and as students return to school. Could it get any better!

Have you looked around? Mud runs and similar obstacle-type course events are the national rage and reaching epidemic proportions. These events are much more adventurous and social than the traditional 5K run.

The course is roughly 2.5 miles and will feature 12-14 unique and challenging mud, water and dry land obstacles.

• The event will benefit the MU Children's Hospital and the Children's Miracle Network. A portion of each entry fee and all of the parking fees will go to benefit this great cause.
