@devildogjosh1942 Nazis: Forced youth to do their work. Maoists: Youth did their work because they believed in it en masse. Membership in the Red Guard was not compulsory nor universal, as opposed to the Brown Shirts/Hitler Youth. Whereas the NSDAP would publish lists of books to be burnt, the Red Guard generally decided on their own what was offensive to the socialist construction or not.

@Schickenburger u know the soviets (Stalin's soviet union) were just as evil, they actually wanted to exterminate the Jews, different flags same goals.

@devildogjosh1942 thats right! but what is interesting is that the soviets also had planned to attack germany since the late '30s or so as i read the last time according what a historian found out not long ago. But of course thats not an excuse.

Chang Kai Shek was a nationalist as was Hitler(National Socialist) but Chang didn't kill as much.

but Mao and Hitler did some good stuff, make economy better, Mao's technique in his first few years worked and made food for Chinese people but that's the only reason people support him, they turn a blind eye on his dark side
