She's got a right forhead!

@sbowesuk Even more simply, being weighed with the shirt before and after would wield invalid results as the shirt would retain a large amount of the sweat. The guys even more so than Ennis.

it's a powerade ad y'all

Dose it contain aspartame.. ? I wonder. Gonna check next time down the local pakkie shop .

I think the idea was to show how much water people lose during training sessions... therefore you must keep hydrated aka drink powerade. The purpose of the video had nothing to do with testing people's fitness levels....
-
Thumbs up if you think Jessica Ennis is hot

Yes I agree with most of you guys, this doesnt prove anything, but it's a cool ad, plus jess is awesome! and by the way sweat is a way of cooling the body, not just getting rid of water!

Bench dips are such a terrible exercise.

Well, if you can split atoms in your stomach.
Not a very scientific study, it has to be said.
First, results between males and females will differ greatly because a) they have differing body compositions, and b) women are generally smaller/lighter.
Second, Ennis comes from a completely different sport and training background to the guys, therefore her body's response to this test will be different.

Third, Ennis' form on many of the exercises was poor, meaning she wasn't pushing herself nearly as hard as she should have been.
Fourth, what does water loss really prove? People of equal fitness sweat at different rates. Rate of sweating =/= level of fitness.
Put it all together and the results of this fitness test are meaningless.
