I like that show is different from the books. I don't think you can say this is better than that because it's obvious they're going in different direction.

I liked the books, but they became a bit too chick-lit for me.

I think the show has more to say about society and less about Sookie's love life, and I'm cool with that. I don't think the show can survive if it follows the book word by word.

And I must agree - Eric looks so much hotter with long hair imo. I wonder why they did it....
