Sonic 2 - Oil Ocean 2 - Sonic - 0:46

This video shows Oil Ocean 2 completed as Sonic in world record time. Getting hit by spikes was intentional as it sets up the "Mega Sonic" glitch, giving me increased speed and jump height until I leave the screen. Then I use the speed on one of the charging springs to have it shoot me so fast that I go inside the wall, at which point I can zip either left or right. By going left, I beat the screen to the left-side boundary, so that I actually wrap around to the right side of the map, and the screen spends the next 10 seconds scrolling across the entire level to catch up. Then it's just a boss fight to win.
