how about down shifting to 3rd at 90 mph and at 120 mph shift back to high, i use to do this with a 76 trans am very fast!

My first car was a 1970 Red GTO and I traded pinks with my friend who had a 1973 Trans Am 455 Red with white Int. It wasnt a SD but I did a few mods and had Keystone Mags with 60 Good Years! Automatic but it would chrip 2 and even 3rd gear and for a big car it would take a corner.

you went all the way... but why did you use the WRONG year grills??? 73 has large rectangles 72 had honeycomb grills and 70-71 had small square grills plus missing grill emblem. close
