this might very well be the most dangerous thing i have ever done. ever. but im doing it for the one i love.
i looked beyond the living room into the kitchen. and i saw the door to the basement. now i have a map of the house. her dad was still in the basement, and if i wanted to actually live through this, it was now or never.

taking a deep breath, i backed up about 10 steps and with all my strenght, ran straight into the window. the glass broke, cutting me everywhere. my shirt was ripped, barely even a shirt any more. i got up off the floor and ran to the table, grabbed the gun, and walked into the kitchen. it was dark and cold. i took off my shirt and threw it on the floor. it would just get in the way. i looked down at my chest. there were little cuts and they were all bright red. i then looked at the gun, and i made sure the gun had bullets in it. there was. 1. i was a little iffy about opening the door. afraid of seeing something i didntw ant to see. seeing jenny jurt, or, dare i say it? dead. seeing her dad RIGHT there, in my face. scared that maybe i was going to lose my life tonight.

i knew that this was dangerous, andi knew that there was a great chance i would never saee my family ever again. that maybe tonight was the last night i will ever see my brothers' faces even my parents faces ever again. knowing that if i was gone ill never come back. its permanent. all of these emotions flooded within myself, emotions i never knew i could feel so strongly. and i took a step back, reached behind me, and laid the gun down on the counter. and with that, i walked out of the hosue.
