  • I have grown up Sri Lanka and most of my youth and my dad made me to watch these Hindi Classical movies. At that time I did not enjoyed that much. But now it's totally different. I am enjoying these musics everyday before I go to bed. My days ends with these musics and it gives me relaxation for the day and more energy to start next day. I wish my dad is with me when I am listening to these sons (still alive but not with me). I am really appreciate to my dad what he has taught me.

  • Just lovely and so innocent they look. The simplicity and beauty of the actors and the scenery around them all were not appreciated by us at the time but now they are legends and classics which we long for. Yes Dev Anand was a super actor and thanks for all the lovely memories he has left us with - may his soul R.I.P.!

  • @ceylonsrilanka: Actually, they used to play the best songs on Ceylon Radio more than on All India Radio. The Sri Lankans had a much better sense of music than us Indians!
