Envisioning Portland State University as the Sustainable University of the Future

If Portland State University (PSU) is to become a model, an engine of change — a driving force that leads society to a sustainable and desirable future — then we must create a shared vision. Without a coherent shared vision of what the model university would look like, there will be no united effort to take us from here to there. With a new director, Robert Costanza, now in place, the Institute for Sustainable Solutions (ISS) is well positioned to help bring PSU into the next phase of its sustainability legacy.

Maybe the school can shift it's attention to sustainability after it perfects it's currently substandard educational philosophy. A school with too many priorities cannot effectively educate it's students.
