High-powered truth chasers like Dan Rather help to keep America honest. I used to enjoy watching him on the news. He has such a calm, honest voice, and he's so dignified, respectful, professional, someone who means business.

He always gave me the sense that he was out there watching our backs, dragging those snakes out of their holes and chasing them into the light, where America could study them. He's like a wise village elder who teaches our children about the dangers in this wild land.
