"Water, water everywhere - Nor any drop to drink!" -- So goes the plaint from poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge's "Rime of the Ancient Mariner", and it sets the stage for a crucially important issue facing our world today: The safety of, and availability of, and access to, and the politics & economics of, WATER.
For, as it turns out, all these things are already at risk. And as our human civilization expansively pushes toward becoming a global population of some 7-billion people by mid-century, these issues -- all tightly interwoven with our very ability to survive -- become ever more vital to resolve NOW.
These issues comprise the key focus of this special episode of the New York City-based television series DAZZLE UNLIMITED (tm): DAZZLE UNLIMITED Host Steven Steinberg interviews the 2010 Stockholm Water Prize Winner Dr. Rita Colwell about these important issues -- and about what they mean to our world and to our lives.
