"Aurora" is dedicated to those who lost their lives and were affected by the tragedy in Aurora, Colorado. I recorded this song in London in the days following the tragedy as a heartfelt tribute to the victims and their families. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Aurora Victim Relief organization. The track is available on iTunes shortly and you can donate here: http://bitly.com/QmUiWM " - Hans Zimmer

Things can change if all of us pledge to take a step towards light and try to diminish the darkness within us. This world is our home and we cannot allow it to plunge into darkness so easily. I know my thoughts might seem impossible or far fetched for you but hope is that beacon of light that can drive away the clouds of despair and misery. There still goodness around my sister and you will find it. Just don't loose hope so quickly. This universe is our home and we won't allow it to crumble.

My friend, you are right, things can change.. But it will be up to us and our kids to do so.

Things are not getting worse. Bad things have always been happening. You just didn't hear about them because there wasn't mass media until very recently. Don't forget all the good things that happen every day, though. This is a lovely world full of lovely people. Please do not pretend that you are the last compassionate woman left. Please do not spread such sadness. Cheer up.

Yes we have, and it was way worse before. Consider yourself lucky you're living in such a peaceful era, and I say peaceful in comparison with how the world used to be before. You didn't live any worldwide war. You didn't live colonization. You didn't live /any/ war. I just say, consider yourself lucky and don't condemn humanity when there's so much more to see than fucked up people. You just refuse to see the good side of humanity, and that's upsetting and sad.

there is ALOT more than just "a few". maybe you havent seen the things ive seen and experienced them as well. but each generation just keeps getting worse and worse. and im sick of people replying back to me saying im horrible or whatever for not wanting kids, well i do want kids. i just would hate to have them grow up into a world like this. and yeah, humanity has always been fucked up, but things are getting worse. we havent always been this way.

That is bullshit. People have always been like that. Plus saying you lost hope in humanity for a few morons is stupid. Like Gandhi said, "Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty."

I'm sorry to admit it...but I'll have to agree with you saiyangirl22...seems like the generations following us are slowly self-destructing...I wonder if we that are before them had anything to do with it though...

Lost hope for humanity? That's nonsense! The ones who have been nothing but trouble are only a mere fraction (a small one) compared to the millions of other people of our generation who are yet to do so much for this world. So don't lose faith, let it all pan out. Everything will be alright.
