Karg - Herest (Des Sommers letzter Flügelschlag)

Karg is a black metal band from Austria, with V. Wahntraum being it's only member. The first album, called "Von den Winden der Sehnsucht", was released in 2009 and has the astounding length of 1:18:44 minutes. Karg has lyrical themes surrounding aspiration, depression, self destruction and philosophy.

Prior to Karg's debut album a demo called 'Zeitenwende' was created but it was never officially released. The song "Herest" is track seven from the demo but was later released on a NHR-Records sampler which is free for download.

Recently, a split with Andrarakh called "Traumruinen" was released through the Russian label Kunsthauch.

"Karg" means 'desolate' in English.
