yeah it can shoot 16:9 you fool I hate people that shout stuff when they dont know what they are talking about, this is a good camera if you dont care about the canon household name and you can life 2 more pounds compared to the canon gl2 and you dont need 10x more zoom than the canon aswell which they will tell you in film school anyway you should not do. I am going to shoot porn with this great camera

@KandAshow its not that bad of a camera, i own it. its not hd or widescreen but the colors are amazingly bright. i heard the mics not that good but i use an external anyway.
