the salvation army has done well for so many years--they were the ones my dad and his buddy looked to for help during WWII while stationed in the south pacific.

When my house burned down I went to the liquor store.

Very well done Bob!

The Salvation Army has one of the best donation stewardship records and the bell ringers do not pester the customers. A privately-owned company is at liberty to choose which charities they want to promote. I fault the ACLU for their frivolous and taxpayer-funded ambulance-chasing. Their principle of protecting civil liberties is to pit one person's rights against everyone else's. At least the owner of the liquor store mentioned still has some common sense.

Bob, You are so right-enough of this PC bologna!!
Christmas is about the birth of Christ and all of this ACLU stuff has got to go! The Salvation Army is the best organization of it's kind. Help is never denied to anyone ,regaldless of their religious affilation.

cool, thanks for posting this Bob. Gotta love the classic radio spots and we look forward to hopefully future new radio spots

Public square laws and rulings have hurt the Salvation Army. Blaming retailers is simply unfair. Blame the courts and your lawmakers.

I have rang the bell for the past few years..you can count on the money going to help those truly in need. Its a great organization!!
If a major store bans Salvation Army from ringing their bell in front of their stores then I'm not buying from them.
Great tongue-in-cheek video. Looks like liquor stores aren't being harrassed by PC thugs who hate Christmas.
Merry Christmas :-D

I love the Salvation Army. God bless them and anyone who gives to them. They are one of the true charity organizations.
