Open position chords arent the only chords you can move up the neck of the guitar. The bar chord was designed to do just that. Nothing new here. Most players hit a bump when they start learning bar chords. Thats because theyre kinda hard to play, balancing the power you need to get a solid grip to depress all the strings and the flexibility you need to move from one chord to the other. But theres a neat trick we can perform with these chords to make our lives easier; just remover the bar!
