  • Jordan, Piazzolla was from an Italian family. The name "Piazzolla" is an Italian name. His family spoke Italian at home. Astor spoke fluent Italian.

  • You and Polashek made these youngsters perform magnificently. The Las Vegas Phil couldn't have played it better. You, as usual, gave a bravo rendition. I love this piece..ever since I heard you in concert. Guido

  • DE PIE!!! Y APLAUDA

  • Thank you. Yes, this is a 9 - 12 HS non-auditioned string orchestra in Ames, Iowa.

  • This is a high school? Very nice!

  • Many thanks, but Piazzolla was argentinian, so he did not speak italian, but spanish...

  • Bravo Doktorski! Thanks for this great clip.

  • Excelente!

  • Great performance by Doktorski. And I drove over 500 miles to hear the concert!!!

Also great performance by Mrs. Polashek and her orchestra - as well as the the duet with Emil Polashek!

  • I am huge fan of Piazzolla. This interpretation is molto bravissimo!
