The Mess I Made (Vampire Academy - Eddie/Mia)

Storyline: ALTERNATE UNIVERSE (obviously). Set after Frostbite (?), Mia and Eddie bond over their mutual losses (Mason, Mia's mom) and become friends. Rose notices and Eddie confesses he has feelings for Mia but can't act upon them because he knows he can never be with her with the kind of lifestyle he'll be having. He tries to avoid Mia, pushing her away but she doesn't relent and he gives in to his feelings. Their relationship progresses until Mia gets kidnapped by a strigoi and Eddie comes to the rescue.

Okay, not much of a plot but I had fun

Non-canon ships are the best. Seriously, I ship more non-canon ships than canon. And I think these two are just adorable. While the world goes crazy over Rose/Dimitri/Adrian and Christian/Lissa, I'll show this underrated ship some love.

About my casting. I chose Shawn Ashmore for Eddie because I saw some people use him in icons and such and thought he was perfect. I chose Candice Accola for Mia because of her performance in the Vampire Diaries, her character there is a lot similar to Mia. And the little cameo with Rose, I chose Jessica Stroup because she's the only one (in my opinion) who can pull off Rose's character, no one else.

"Yeah me too. We're all feeling the same way, you know."
"Please don't leave me alone."
"Okay, what was that?"
"Nothing."
"Right."
"I mean it's not what you think, I'd like it to be, it's just... it's just that it's not easy when you want to be closer to someone...but you can't."
"Okay, I say stupid things without thinking. I'm a terrible, awful person but I'm working on it."
"I think it'll be easier on your own. You should go."
"I may have been some pathetic, insecure mess but do not mistake that for me being a pushover because I do not let guys mess with my head anymore!"
"Need a ride?"
