Medvedev reveals why Putin not him - Full interview

In an interview to Russian state channels, Dmitry Medvedev spoke about his suggestion that Vladimir Putin should run in the 2012 presidential election, his ambitions for the future and the transparency of the coming elections. He stressed that "the choice is made by the people, and these are not mere words; it's absolutely true. Any politician and any political force may lose an election".

@nachillyo The European Union is just like the Soviet Union in principle. When you think of it, it is.. Although the EU's norms and politics fucking stinks to high heaven, and the Soviet Union was fantastic. I wish Putin would form the Soviet Union again. But im not sure he's the right man to do it, because he was part of the old Soviet Union, and maybe people are too modern for that. But still hail the Soviet Union!
