  • if someone tries to teach a created vibrato is that wrong should I stay away from anybody teachin that style

  • I think vibrato should be natural and easy. However, I've listened to some of your clips and the teacher is probably trying to get the 'feel' of vibrato in your voice. If you watched American Idol tonight, I usually just watch the finale, the David Archueleta boy had some really nice vibrato... although he started with straight-tone and then went into vibrato. The other David was stuggling and was off pitch a bit. The fatigue have finnaly caught up I guess.

  • I was kicked out of my last voice teacher about 5 days ago and I am lookin for a new voice teacher I have been going to defferent teacher tryin to find one and two of the places I went I believe they were making the vibrato falsely by moving the tone up and down.I was wondering if I shloud stay away from those types of teachin a false vibrato

  • I think it would be wise. But remeber, "empty your cup" ... you won't be able to learn anything if you think you know everything. It's really important that when you go to a voice lesson you just TRUST the vocal coach. Go with what they are saying, if it begins to hurt THEN you need to start asking questions.

  • i have a question: what if you really cant sing but would like to, what do u do?

  • The most important thing is the ear!! Although, I believe if you really understand what you are talking about then you should be able to apply them to your own voice. There is a big difference between having a pretty voice and singing well.

  • Hello,

Sometimes when I sing I get a burning or a very dry sensation in my throat. What causes this?

  • ive got a question and it would be really nice to get an answer. i can sing in basso profondo all the way to mezzo soprano. how ever, i am not able to sing one whole song without feeling that my throat hurts. then it gets impossible to reach high notes and it hurts, like if you are sad and feel it in your throat. ive tryed of several technics but nothing helps:( would like some comments on this problem if possible.

  • Can I ask a question?

Does 2nd voice work in all songs?

I want to learn 2nd voice

  • Is there a way of singing the Blues style without hurting the vocal chords?
