Nick: *comes up and hugs her.*

Nick: Would you like something to eat? *points to picnic blanket with food*

Lexie: *so happy she can only nod*

Nick: *leads her over*

Lexie: This is amazing.

Nick: I'm glad you like it.

*they eat and talk and laugh*

Lexie: *laying next to Nick with his arm around her* Nick can I ask you something?

Nick: Mm hm

Lexie: Why me?

Nick: Lexie I don't think you see yourself the way other people, especially me, do. To me you're gorgeous, smart, funny, kind, caring. You are the most wonderful person I've met.

Lexie: Thank you.

Nick: Whatever you like.

Lexie: *sighs*

Nick: Lexie, I'm sorry I acted the way I did at the carnival. I was just nervous.

Lexie: Its okay.

Nick: *leans in* Do you think we could try that again?

Lexie: *whispers* Yes.

*They kiss. It's short but very passionate.*

Nick: I want you to have this. * hands her a heart necklace*

Lexie: Nick, It's beautiful.

Nick: I thought you might like it. *puts it on her* It looks even more beautiful on you.

Lexie: *hugs him*

*They lay there the rest of the night and fall asleep in each others arms.*
