  • Try tree kicking. U eventually kick a footprint into the tree bark. The push kick on a tree strengthens the weak parts of the lower leg.

  • @janubart not from aikido, aikido became popular in Russia only in the middle of 90s of XX. It's from jujutsu, something like this, i guess: jujutsu->samoz->combat sambo (real, not sport version of it)->systema->ross.

    Look at Alexander Retuinskih's biography, he was never trained in aikido.
