  • He's a very good actor but most people only see him as an action star. Moonlighting was the best thing he ever did.

  • Bruce Willis was the best TV actor their ever was and most don't realize it.

NO one and I mean No One was able to do Comedy and Drama so well as he did as David Adison.

  • @Mbast1 It doesn't go bad in this ep, it's probably afterward. The whole miscarriage was a copout. Either let her have the baby, get an abortion or give it up for adoption.

  • @jopash3 I'll be the one cynic and say this wasn't the best acting, but it's still well written dialogue and he does a good job with it. It's certainly very romantic.

  • bruce is so good here! i wish i had a man like him or david addison.

  • Wow...Bruce was absolutely amazing in this scene.. I am truly mesmerized.

  • That was one of the awful things. They turned this smart, beautiful, amazing woman into a caricature of feminists. The first few seasons of this are some of the best tv ever, but they lost it. Still want a reunion movie, but not with those writers!

  • Agreed...the writers turned Maddie into a hateful moron. The miscarriage episode was beyond horrible.

  • I'm not sure, but this might be where the show goes bad. Well, maybe because of what comes after. David (and Bruce) is SO good here, so in love, so much the man for Maddie. And the writers seemed to have lost that. By the last season they were "friends". No, not after this. It just doesn't work.

    But this scene IS amazing.

  • GO DAVE!

  • WOW!!! Thank you for posting this so I can relive how great this show was. What an amazing scene, just incredibly done!! Kudos and more to Bruce...

  • One of the best declarations of love I have ever seen! It isn't sentimental or overdone; it is genuine and completely realistic! Way to go, Bruce! Not many male actors are capable of such outburst of feeling...
