hi, there. I like this video. Will I be able to use the different plugins that wordpress has to offer on my theme?
-
Nice job! And thank you very much for this video. The new version of WordPress is slightly different, but still this video helped me alot.

Does anyone know why when you move the style.css file, the template no longer shows in the drop down, the drop down disappears? Also what about the CSS file makes it acknowledged in WP? I am trying to follow this tutorial but I cannot make my own directory in my themes folder and have it acknowledged as a theme, it doesn't show in my themes list.

I'm stuck, I've followed the tutorial, and can see the templates in the dropdown list in wiordpress but when I publish a page the page it is completely blank. Even the source code is missing. Very odd. Could it be that I'm using the latest version of wordpress (as of today 3.3.1)?

No BS tutorials; you're doing it right.
Take note wordpress. The stuff here isn'tcomplicated, so how bouts you go on explain that on your site rather than a bunch of crappy mods to CMS'ify my site?

Again, fantastic!! I was going about things the hard way. This saves SO much time. THANK YOU!!

I really enjoyed the video. I've watched it numerous times. I noticed that you have css style sheets linked to the php files. You showed that the php files from your hard drive needed to moved to the themes folder on the live server.
I noticed that you didn't say to move the linked /css/css/master.css file to the live server. Apparently you must have because every thing looked good.
Keep being an inspiration.
Cool. But what about the CSS file for your local site? Do we ftp that over as well?

@zjunkie you can, you can reference your local css file in the WordPress header.
