When i had read about chaining and tried it and got a shiny gastronadon(or however you spell it) on my second go. I was overjoyed at how little time it took. I wasn't overjoyed on the other hand that it was a gastronadon(or however you spell it).

@aaaaaaaaaaaaaanthony a chain is when you use the pokeradar to encounter a specific pokemon over and over again. If you reach a chain of 40 of the same pokemon then you can reset for the radar over and over again in hopes of finding a shiny patch, which will contain a shiny pokemon version. Do you have diamond/pearl or platinum?

how do u get a pokemon to be on that pketch app thing on the bottom screen? and i still cant find scyther!

@Pureflamez20 you have to use the poke radar and scyther has a 5% encounter rate so you have to be patient. Good luck.
