I wish I had these sound effects. Precious childhood sound effects we heard from our favorite movies and shows, we cherish them so even if they were overused alot, we didn't give. These sounds struck our emotions dramatically as kids no matter what the scene.

It was also used on Green Acres (my all-time favorite show), Petticoat Junction, Mayberry R.F.D. (in the episode where they go camping), Yours, Mine, and Ours" (the 1968 original with Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda, and in The Green Promise; the 1949 movie where Natalie Wood developed her lifelong fear of water.
Basically, it was used in a lot of movies and TV shows.

wileyk209zback has a more definitive set of Thunder sounds which I have integrated into the Cinesound Effects Library project which'll be in the next update. The source video for which can be found in his channel. I'll probably upload some more sounds to my channel at some point as there's some that I havn't uploaded yet that I know were recycled repeatedly which could do with catalogging...

Not bad, but a note on the second one; apparently some sound editor mixed it in with a different thunder rumble heard starting at 0:16. My video presents how it originally sounded.

Yeah that'd be the sound mix transition your hearing. I initially mixed it in with the 1st castle thunder tailoff to recreate the tailoff so to speak...
