But then, Steve & Eydie were proteges, of sorts, of Steve Allen's, having had their television start as a singing duo on Allen's "Tonight" show, the first incarnation of that long-running NBC-TV program.

@BardCoennius Kevin Spacey doesn't resemble Bobby Darin all that much--he's the only one who most thinks he does.

Spacey is certainly too effeminate to have played Darin in the biopic he produced. But when one is putting up one's own money for a film, objectivity goes down the drain.
